Thanks for thinking about divine hiddenousness. If god permeates everything, he should be easy to detect. His attributes would be found anywhere one looks. Dark matter and dark energy are like that. We can't see, feel, or smell them, but we can detect their effect on the matter we can see.

Unlike those invisible forces, no matter where we look, we find no measurable attributes of any gods. If a god exists, he's undetectable by any means at our command, which is true of the set of those things which do not exist within reality.
