That's an excellent question. I do not know if you're familiar with the wirk of Anthony Magnabosco, but his "Street Epistemology" is the perfect soft-glove approach to use with family members. Above all else, you want to avoid antoganizing them. Doing that can have terrible reprecussions in family cohexiveness.
